My journey into jewelry began long before I ever held a jeweler’s torch.

As a little girl, I would spend hours flipping through fashion magazines, completely captivated by the fine jewelry advertisements. I wasn’t simply looking at diamonds and gemstones, I was studying them. I became fascinated by the artistry, craftsmanship, and emotion that a single piece of jewelry could evoke. Even then, I knew I wanted to spend my life creating beautiful things.

Some of my earliest memories are also of my Dearest Grandmother Florence and her three carat natural Tiffany diamond ring my grandfather gave her. She wore it every single day, and every time she shared the story behind it, I was captivated and genuinely smitten by their love. To me, it wasn’t simply a remarkable and priceless diamond, it was a symbol of love, devotion, family, and the story that jewelry can carry from one generation to the next. Although the ring itself was never passed down to me as I had once hoped, the inspiration it sparked never left. In many ways, it became one of the greatest gifts she ever gave me. It deepened my appreciation for heirloom jewelry and strengthened my dream of creating meaningful pieces that future generations will treasure in the same way.

That passion led me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Art, where I developed a strong foundation in design, composition, color theory, and creative expression. After graduation, I devoted myself to teaching my own hands the art of jewelry making, spending more than two decades as a self taught jeweler, continually refining my craft through curiosity, persistence, and countless hours at the bench.

Wanting to deepen both my technical knowledge and craftsmanship, I enrolled at the Gemological Institute Of America (GIA), where I earned my Graduate Jeweler diploma . There I received advanced training in bench jewelry, metalsmithing, fabrication, gemstone setting, repair, and fine jewelry techniques. That experience transformed not only my technical abilities but also the way I approach every piece I create.

Meaning has always been the heart of my work. Every piece begins long before metal meets the torch. It starts with a story, a sketch, a memory, or an emotion waiting to be transformed into something tangible. I believe jewelry has the power to commemorate life’s milestones, honor loved ones, celebrate personal growth, and become a lasting reminder of who we are and what we cherish most.

Whether I’m sketching a new design, hand fabricating metal, weaving thousands of tiny beads into one of my signature Angel Wings, creating a custom heirloom, or thoughtfully curating pieces that reflect my artistic vision, my hope is always the same, to create jewelry that becomes part of someone’s story and is treasured for years to come.

I believe that true craftsmanship is a life long pursuit. My education didn’t end with GIA, and neither has my desire to learn. Some of my long term goals are to return to the Gemological Institute Of America to learn the skill of advanced engraving and to continue my studies in gemology, expanding my expertise in gemstone evaluation. My dream is to become not only a designer and metalsmith, but also a trusted expert in the extraordinary gemstones that inspire my work.

Today, Sacred Seed Designs reflects where I am on that journey, a collection rooted in artistry, craftsmanship, and intention. Looking ahead, my vision will continue to grow through House Of Cole my future luxury fine jewelry atelier, where exceptional design, extraordinary gemstones, and master craftsmanship will come together to create heirloom pieces worthy of being passed down for generations.

When I’m not at my jeweler’s bench, you’ll usually find me at the beach spending time with my tiny studio companion, Meeka, my micro Pomsky. She has been by my side through late nights at the workbench, moments of inspiration, and every chapter of this journey. More than a pet, she’s family, a quiet reminder that the most meaningful things in life aren’t measured by their size, but by the love, comfort, and joy they bring.

Every collection I release, every custom commission I create, and every new skill I pursue is another step toward a dream that began with a little girl captivated by the sparkle of fine jewelry and inspired by the stories my grandmother shared around a diamond ring that represented far more than it’s brilliance. Today, I create with the hope that every piece leaving my bench will become part of someone else’s story and one day, perhaps, a treasured heirloom of their own.
